What We Teach

Full STEM, Not Just IT

Traditional education focuses on passing exams — at MicroMind Lab, students learn how to create, build, and innovate with technology.

We go beyond textbooks with 100% practical, project-based learning — from computer basics to advanced robotics, engineering, and smart technologies.

Students don't just study ICT — they explore the full world of STEM, gaining real-world skills and hands-on experience while building their own innovative projects.

  • Practical learning from basics to advanced levels
  • Focus on creativity, innovation, and problem-solving
  • Hands-on projects and real-world experience
The Four Pillars

STEM Education

A powerful combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics — taught together through hands-on projects.

Science

Real experiments with sensors, data collection, and measurement. Students understand the physical world through hands-on investigation.

Experiments

Technology

Programming, embedded systems, IoT devices, robotics, and digital tools. Students build things that actually work in the real world.

Coding

Engineering

Design, prototype, test, and improve. Students follow the full engineering cycle — from idea to working product and real-world application.

Build & Test

Mathematics

Applied maths through real projects — circuits, measurements, logic, and problem-solving with purpose and context.

Instructor profile
Your Instructor

Not just a teacher.
A working engineer.

I work professionally as a software engineer at a company that develops smart agriculture solutions. My STEM classes bring that same industry experience directly to your home — every lesson is grounded in real-world knowledge, not just textbooks.

My passion for technology began in childhood, taking apart toys and wondering how things work. Today, I aim to spark that same curiosity in every student I teach.

  • Software Engineer at Elzian Agro (Pvt) Ltd
  • Former instructor at the Inventors' Society — Dutugamunu Maha Vidyalaya
  • BSc (Computer Studies & Electronics) — University of Kelaniya
  • Training Programme (Microcontroller-Based System Design) — University of Moratuwa

The Learning Path

Four Stages to Innovation

From digital basics to building intelligent systems.

Foundation Stage

The Starter

Building essential digital skills. Students learn to use computers effectively and understand the basics of technology.

Stage 1 · Beginner

The Explorer

Building real circuits from day one. Students learn to ask "how does this work?" and find the answer by making it.

Stage 2 · Intermediate

The Maker

From circuits to machines. Students build robots that move, sense, and respond — writing real code to control them.

Stage 3 · Advanced

The Innovator

Internet of Things and smart systems. Students build devices that can be controlled from a smartphone, from anywhere in the world.

How It Works

Getting started is simple

1

Free Discussion

A session at your home. Your child builds a real circuit on day one — no prior experience needed.

2

Placement Chat

We find the right stage based on your child's age and interests. Relaxed, no pressure, and no formal tests.

3

Weekly Home Classes

I come to you. Sessions are 2–3 hours, once a week, fully hands-on with real components.

4

Build & Level Up

Each stage ends with a showcase project your child presents. Then they move on to the next stage.

What Parents Say

From the families we work with

This is not a tutor guessing from a book. He is an engineer doing this in his real job. My son is learning the same technology used in real companies. That gives me real confidence.

RK
Nakiyadeniya, Galle · ★★★★★

My son stopped asking to play video games and started asking me to buy more components. He built a robot car and showed it to me. I am so proud of him.
